According to Virtamo (1998), there have been several research trying to reduce thecongestion face speed to the extent that it penalizes itself. For instance, the Jacobsons TCP hasexperienced many sophisticated congestion avoidance mechanisms being added to it (Radhadevi& Srikanth, 2013). These mechanisms have been implemented in three versions of TCP. The TCPversions include TCP Tahoe, TCP Vegas, and TCP Reno (Virtamo, 1998). The window-basedcongestion control is conducted in two main algorithms. These algorithms are the Slow Start andthe Congestion Avoidance. This paper discusses the general architecture TCP, for both CongestionAvoidance and Slow Start and also their applications.General Architecture of TCPTCP is basically a communication language between links.
